These images I edited on Be funky, as I selected these certain few to put onto my contents page, and to use as a story in the magazine. 
I choose these pictures because they are very formal and would attract the audience to see what the story could be about.

Conventions Of a Contents Page

• Page Numbers- clearly shown, easy for the reader to read whats inside, and find certain pages in the magazine 
• Sub-headings- A contents page should contain subheadings, to give  clear idea of what the certain page is about, making it easier for reader to navigate. 
• Colour Scheme- Using the house style, based on the front cover of my magazine cover.
• Use of imagery/photography - Image of the artist/band articles will be based on. Usually with a caption to draw the readers in. 
• Bold fonts- Context standing out
• Issue number and date
• Captions- Anchorage
• Website address- If reader wants to know any additional information
•  Title of magazine

Contents Page inspiration

This is a mood board of previous Pop music magazine contents pages used to show the reader whats inside the magazine. The house style of each contents page follows on from the front cover, and the colors used are the common pop music magazine color, such as pinks and purples.

Things I changed... 
The cover on the left, is the first final draft, which I was planning on using for my music magazine,but then I developed it, by doing several things, and the feedback impacted the actions I toke along the way. 

• Changed the font of the bold title "Sumaiya Westwood", and I made the "Upcoming star" smaller.
• Adjusted my image, by using fireworks- I adjusted the brightness, and contrast, making the image look brighter and more attractive. 
• Rearranged the cover lines, and added an another one to fill in the space. 
• I removed images that I used fro the internet, and replaced it with my image from my photo shoot. 
• I made the bar code smaller, and the price and date. 
• Adjusted the size of the pug
